COVID-19 Information
Our COVID Mitigation Protocols have been modified and are subject to change at any point.
Student or Staff is Positive for COVID:
- Your child/staff member must stay home for at least 24 hours from the onset of symptoms OR a positive COVID test.
- Individuals may need to isolate for longer depending on how the virus affects them. Once fever ends and symptoms have improved for 24 hours, you can go about normal activities.
- Upon return consider taking precautions like wearing a mask around others.
COVID Symptoms
According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), people with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:
- Fever or chills
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fatigue
- Muscle or body aches
- Headache
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
